No, our office has a variety of services to assist programs at various stages. For example, established programs may use our Instructional Designers to review existing courses or use our Academic Media production staff to incorporate new or additional media components into courses.

Academic units may use all or some of our services, depending on your needs. We understand that some academic units have built internal support structures. In those instances, UOES staff will work collaboratively and compliment your local support staff.

We work collaboratively with Provosts and their teams to allocate resources; ensuring that efforts are aligned with unit-spanning strategic priorities. Programs that want access to limited services must first gain approval through their Provost office, who will then communicate with UOES.

The process for developing a new fully online degree program is no different from developing a traditional on-campus program. The Office of Academic Planning within University Academic Affairs, can provide guidance on the approval process. Once the program has been approved, our office will provide the vital start-up support needed to launch the program.
