RUOnlineCon 2025
Conference Highlights
Just wrapped up an incredible experience at the 16th Annual Rutgers Online Learning Conference (RUOnlineCon) on March 17, 2025 - and what a day it was!
This year’s conference brought together educators, instructional designers, and educational technology innovators to explore the cutting edge of online learning. From AI and emerging technologies to inclusive teaching practices and strategies for student engagement, the sessions were packed with insight, inspiration, and practical takeaways.
One of the biggest highlights was Dr. Michelle Miller’s powerful keynote on how cognitive psychology can help us design more engaging and effective online learning experiences. Her message on aligning brain science with pedagogy hit home for many of us looking to deepen student connection in digital spaces.
We also celebrated educators in the field with the Excellence in Online Teaching Awards, recognizing those who are truly redefining what's possible in virtual classrooms.
Huge kudos to the organizers and presenters for creating a space that was not only informative but energizing. If this conference reminded us of anything, it’s that the future of learning is bold, inclusive, and brilliantly collaborative.
